DESCRIPTION
A reimagining of Garcia Lorca’s Blood Wedding, set in the outskirts of Beijing, with the rich Bridegroom’s family envisioned as a prominent Triad gang. Their home is a lavish, modernist take on a traditional Siheyuan residence, complete with balconies, gardens and a retractable helipad. Tensions build over the planned wedding and it builds to a shootout between rival gangs in downtown Beijing, culminating in the heads of both families being killed.
